Europe?

So you want to know about "The Pink"? Well you asked the right person! I became aquatinted with the Pink last year while I was touring Europe working for Performance Designs and I was impressed enough with them that I accepted their offer to load organize for them for the `97 season. There are two parts to the Pink. First is the Skyvan with the most excellent paintjob I have ever seen. The business is based out of Vienna, but the plane travels to different drop zones throughout Europe (Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Italy) as well as spending the months May and August in the Pink`s own drop zone in the town of Klatovy in the Czeck Republic. The second part of the Pink is the family that runs the operation and the family that runs the Pink is as amazing as the plane. The entire package equals FUN! That is what it means to visit a Pink Boogie.

So what can you expect from a Pink Boogie! Your first stop will be at Manifest where you will be greeting by a smile (surprise!), register, and be given your own Pink Card which by simple swiping through a scanner puts you on the next available load. The level of organization offered by a fully computerized manifest system makes it easy for jumpers o relax and enjoy. After all, you are on vacation.

One of the biggest bonuses of jumping with the Pink is that for any type of skydiving that you do, there will be people to jump with. I organized primarily for the relative work groups. There are more organizers for relative work groups so that everyone from the beginner to the experienced jumper can find their group. The Pink also provides organizers for chute assis and freeflying. For those jumpers that are beginners in C.A. and freeflying you will find a freefly school at most of the summer boogies.
Additionally, during the Pink`s stay in Klatovy there are relative work seminars for beginners on up. For the last six summers Jerry Bird has run a Large Sequential Seminar and Marco Manna was back for his second year giving his freeflying/freestyle with the flair that only Marco possesses! This year there was even a Skysurfing seminar with Freddy Hofmayer. For those of you that do not know him he set the record for the highest Skysurfing Jump in `96.
So as you can see the Pink provides for all types of skydivers. What I found especially exciting is that many of the jumpers are trying all different types of skydiving. This parallels exactly with the Pink attitude of "keep an open mind".
