Mark Wrathall

Mark started in aviation in 1989, with an apprenticeship as an aircraft technician with the Royal New Zealand Air Force. During the six years in the service, he gained a trade certificate in engineering, private and commercial pilots licenses and then worked part time as a flying instructor.

After leaving the RNZAF, Mark emigrated to Austria to be with Barbara. Starting in maintenance for an airline, Mark completed the exams for the maintenance license with a rating on the Boeing 777 in 1996. During this time an instrument rating was added to the pilots license. After two years in maintenance, he changed to engineering as a propulsion engineer, becoming good friends with Phil. When Phil started flying Pink, Mark got involved in the maintenance. A Skyvan Rating was added to his maintenance license in 2003.

Mark lives in Wien, is married to Barbara, and kept busy by two children.
